Rick R. Nelson, Chief of Police

Rick Nelson has been the Chief of police at Cambria, Wisconsin, since July of 1999.  Rick came to Cambria from the Police Department at Edgerton, Wisconsin, where he was a lieutenant.

Rick began his career in police work in 1978 when he became a member of the United States Air Force Security Police. Rick was a member of the original Security Police Emergency Combat Unit which is currently known as USAF Special Operations Group.  Rick served in the Air Force Security Police for four years.

Chief Nelson has received several awards and has been recognized for outstanding police work.  Two of these include:
