We appreciate this fine action of corporate citizenship by Del Monte...and we thank you! This website is a very useful tool which the Village appreciates and uses to communicate with its citizens.  We invite everyone to stay in touch with the current events of your village government though this website.

This listing of Village Permits is not all inclusive.

For additional information on permits, contact the Village Office.

Building Permits are required for any enlargement, alteration, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, new construction or demolition.  Contact Jim Trebian of General Engineering at (608) 745-4070 for more information.

Dog Licenses are required for any dog 5 months or older.  Each dog must have a rabies inoculation prior to obtaining the license, proof of such must be shown before the license will be issued.  Dogs and cats are not allowed to run at large.  Contact the Village Office for dog licenses.

Cat Registration is recommended.  Registration will protect your pet from being turned over to the Humane Society in the event your cat is reported and caught by the police department. Registration is one-time and includes a one-time $5 fee. You are issued a tag to be worn by your cat. Bring a clear, close-up photograph showing the entire body of your cat to the Village Office when you register.

Bicycle Licenses are required and may be obtained through the Cambria Village Office.

Curbside Garbage Collections are every Thursday, clear or white bags are recommended so they know if itís garbage or recycling. *Please note that the maximum any one container can weigh for garbage or recycling is 50# and boxes will not be picked up due to the fact the bottoms get wet and are not secure enough to hold the weight. Many times people put garbage or recycling items in a container that they want the garbage men to take yet others want to keep the containers. Therefore, unless it is in a standard garbage container and you donít want them to take it you need to mark it somehow.

Recycling:  Curbside recycling collections are every other Thursday...see above or contact the Village Office for the schedule. Curbside recycling collection is single stream, which means you can mix all of your recyclable materials into one container. If you want to take your recyclable materials in for disposal you can take them to the Columbia County Recycling Center at W7465 Hwy 16, Pardeeville, WI 53954.
