Worlds Apart With Out Being Worlds Away - The Village of Doylestown is located in the southeastern part of Columbia County in Otsego township, just off Highway 16. Nestled along Grassy Lake, a bird watcher's dream- come-true, Doylestown retains the quiet and natural beauty of the area. Sandhill cranes, Canadian geese, egrets, pheasants, ducks, and a wide variety of other birds all live in or near the Village limits of Doylestown. Home to 314 residents, the Village combines residential, agricultural, and rural living in one spacious community. Located just 30 minutes from Madison, Doylestown is worlds away from the bustle and crowded conditions of urban life. Founded in 1865 and incorporated in 1907, the community boasts its own volunteer fire department, post office, and a ten-acre recreational park. The Village lies within the Rio School District and is in close proximity to several area campgrounds. Rural living at its best. 920-992-3610.
