Be sure to take a ride across the Wisconsin River aboard the Colsac III, Wisconsin's only free auto ferry. This may be one of the rare opportunities you or your family will have to actually experience riding on a car ferry! "Colsac" is a phonetic derivation of the two county names "Columbia" and "Sauk", between which the ferry operates, and who owned and operated the ferry for a period of time prior to the State assuming operations. |
