Halloween Fun For Everyone

Everything from a Jellyfish to Cats came to Pre-School Story Hour on October 25th in honor of the letter Hh and Halloween. Children created a haunted house with their jack-o-lantern hunt, paraded upstairs in costume for patrons and staff, and nibbled on popcorn and M & M’s. We hope you enjoy some of our photos.

Hats Off to Our Firefighting Friends!

Pardeeville Area Pre-Schoolers had a great time visiting the Pardeeville Fire Station on October 12 during National Fire Prevention Week. Chief Rick Wendt showed a video, talked about fire safety, and gave us a grand tour. We tried on fire helmets, sat in the fire trucks, and saw the flashing lights on the trucks.
Thank you, Chief Wendt for the tour and the treat bags, Donn Johnson for organizing our visit, and all fire fighters for keeping us safe.

Time to Stretch @ the library
Although some of the poses may look like contortions, the movements of the body in yoga help strengthen the back and core of the body, improve balance, and stimulate circulation. The meditation and relaxation portions of the class help relieve stress. Treat your body and mind to a yoga class on Thursday evenings and Saturday mornings “upstairs” at the library.
To find the classes upstairs, press 5 in the elevator. For more information, call Michelle (429-9597).
