Glacier Hills Wind Park and Town Monitoring Committee

In July, 2010, the Town of Scott entered into a Joint Development Agreement (JDA) with Wisconsin Electric Power Company regarding the Glacier Hills Wind Park.

Section 16: "Monitoring Committee and Complaint Log" of the JDA establishes a system for logging and investigating concerns from residents of the Town related to the operation of the Wind Turbines.

Additionally, Section 16 establishes a Monitoring Committee consisting of representatives of the Town Board, Wisconsin Electric and Town Residents, including at least one Non-Participating Land Owner.  Where circumstances warrant, the Committee will attempt to assist residents in the resolution of concerns relating to the Glacier Hills Wind Park.

A Town resident with a concern related to the operation of the Wind Turbines should first contact Wisconsin Electric (WE Energies) at this toll free number to register the concern:

Town residents should allow Wisconsin Electric sufficient time to respond and address the situation.

If a resident is unable to reach a satisfactory solution with Wisconsin Electric, the resident may request a review by the Town Monitoring Committee.

To request a review, download and print the Citizen Concern Form. Complete it and return it to the Town Clerk who will schedule a Committee meeting.
