Columbia/Marquette County Pheasants Forever
Thursday June 18, 6:00 PM

Mark & Sue Martin, Wm & Jean Damm, Glenn & Shirley Andler, Sara Kehrli, Eric Krueger, Bill Schaller, and Kevin Wallenfang
1. Treasures report Wm reported a balance of $13,446.
2. Habitat projects Eric reported 5 wet land easements involving over 470 acres in Columbia County and 150 acres inter seeding warm season grasses using Pheasant Forever and matching turkey stamp grants. Eric will have a report at the banquet.
3. Land acquisition in Columbia, closed June 5th Sara & Kevin reported that we have closed on 49 acres in Lewiston Township. Kevin reported that a grant still needs to submitted and this is his first priority. Talked about having a dedication and publicity on the purchase.
4. Food plot seed Wm reported for Ron that all seed is disburse to the land owners. Only had a couple of extra seed corn bags left. Ron has requested time at the banquet for food plot seed orders.
5. Banquet Jean reported on the menu from the Best Western and will be signing the paperwork on it. Bill has sent out the soliciting fliers and passed out fliers to the group to hand out. Discussed banquet items time line. Glenn will be forwarding his copy. Kevin will get us PF banquet package for our next meeting. We will set our next meeting date after we have the package in hand.
6. Update Wis PF Biologist Kevin Wallenfang is our new Biologist. Kevin talked briefly on his activities his first week. State wide looking at adding another Farm Bill Biologist, Eric Krueger position. We were his first chapter contacts. Welcome Kevin.
