Attendance: Wm Damm, Troy Cooley, Jim Gaff, Bill Dabbs, Eric Krueger, Mark Martin, and Bill Schaller

1. Treasures report Wm
Received reimbursement from DNR on land purchase and paid towards Farm Bill Biologist positions. Balance on hand $8537.
2. Habitat projects Eric
Reported on the new CRP sign-up to be coming. Eric was at Pheasant Fest and was busy helping landowners in Iowa with their habitat projects.
3. Web site Bill
Our web site is in the process of being updated. Banquet information is now posted. The banquet date has been set for the first Thursday in October, the 7th.
4. State Convention discussion reports
Raffles: The regulations are confusing but it appears we are doing things correctly.
Youth: Discussed youth project kits available from National. Discussed purchasing the habitat kit to be used with our youth hunts and sharing with other organizations youth activities. Tabled for future consideration.
Banquet: State banquet is similar to how we do our banquet. Members thought we should continue with our format.
Other: National membership is increasing next year to $35.

5. Legislative Action Fund Bill
Voted to send $100 to the National Legislative fund.
6. Stamp print Bill
Decision was made to purchase 2 State Stamp prints for use at our banquet. Bill to contact Kevin Wallenfang to order.
7. Hunting good/bad Kids, book Ron
Tabled till after tax season.
8. Hi-Lo plaque Bill
Grand Sponsor missing their plaque from 2007. Replacement ordered.
9. Open
a. New State PF youth coordinator. Should help in the future with our youth.
b. Focus On Forever – Workshop. Troy learned a lot last year and recommended attending this workshop for our chapter members.
c. Driftwood Lodge fishing trip, decided to order for Oct. banquet. Sponsor’s prize or raffle item. Bill to contact Jim Wooley from National PF.
d. Welcomed new members Jim Gaff & Bill Dabbs.
