Brian and Bonnie Pernat continued to expand Pernat / Haase Meats after the passing of former owner Earl Buchberger. Pernat / Haase Meats is the slaughtering and processing center for the company. Brian and Bonnie do all the curing and smoking of hams, bacons, turkey, fish and other wild game.

Even though Pernat Premium Meats is the company's outlet store, customers can also purchase meat and fish at Pernat / Haase Meats at N4202 County Trunk M, Juneau.

         

A Family Business . . .

Pernat / Haase Meats is a family business dedicated to supporting the Juneau community. The Pernats accommodate the needs of farmers to sell their locally grown beef and pork to the people of Juneau and the surrounding area.

         
Deer . . .

Deer processing is a large part of the Pernat's business. On an average, approximately 2,000 deer a year are brought into the center for processing with over 150 tons of it made into sausage and other products including - Summer Sausage, Weiners, Ring Bologna, Cheddarwurst,  Hot Stix,  Mettwurst, Brats, Breakfast Links, Dried Venison, Jerky, Venison Bacon, Smoked Polish, and Sliced Sandwich Meats.
